Just wondering if anyone out there was a frequent visitor to Giant stadium gigs? I ask because I was looking through 1978 and found 9-2-78. Just curious at what kind of turn-out there was for this kinda show. Giant stadium is huge and I didn't think the band had the following at that point to fill a place like this. maybe I'm wrong.

somebody recently posted about this show. I recall a discussion of it being a year after Englishtown. Just can't remember which Jersey guy it was.

I saw many shows there and they were always sold out. I know the stands held 76,000 plus whatever floor seats.

However, I was not there in 1978 as I was only 9 at the time. My guess is that there were many empty seats for that show.

Saw them there in the late 80's and it was sold out and a real rockin show - about all I remember was getting a ticket for about $15, skateboarding in the parking lot before the shows (there were huge puddles and me and my buddy were getting up as much speed as we could and flying through the puddles on our skateboards), and dancing the whole time on the floor - ran into my brother and his friend and some other Babylonians - good times were had by all !!!!!!!!!!!

Not Giants---opposite end of the country, actually---but same era, and the first two shows I saw were both at stadiums: huge turnout.
